Advancing Opportunity Through Education

We are committed to removing barriers to education and career advancement so individuals can access the tools, training, and support needed to achieve long‑term stability and economic independence. Through scholarships, vocational pathways, and community partnerships, we invest in people’s potential and strengthen the communities they call home.

About Us

The MEYHM Family Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 2021 that is dedicated to expanding access to educational and vocational opportunities for individuals who have been displaced, are newcomers to the U.S. education system, or have had their education interrupted by conflict and are seeking to restart or continue their academic journey. We are a family passionate about helping individuals rebuild their lives with dignity, stability, and opportunity.

At MEYHM, we believe everyone deserves the chance to pursue an education, develop meaningful skills, and access career pathways that lead to long-term independence. Our work is rooted in compassion, community partnership, and the belief that when people are given the tools to succeed, they can transform their futures and create new pathways towards economic mobility.

Our Mission

To ensure that no student is prevented from pursuing meaningful educational or workforce‑training opportunities due to financial hardship—particularly the challenges that can accompany resettlement and rebuilding stability in a new community.

How We Help

We provide educational gap funding to qualified individuals who demonstrate financial need and require additional financial assistance to begin, continue, or complete a vocational or educational program at an accredited institution (community college, public or online university) that is a fit within our funding constraints. For more information regarding eligibility criteria and application process, please visit the scholarship information page under “Our Programs.”
